Omar S & Matthew Dear @ Garden Party 5th Anniversary

We are incredibly excited to announce that the one and only :: OMAR S :: will be flying all the way from Detroit to play an extended set to mark our 5th anniversary. Having already heard great things of the Garden Party (good news travels!), Omar was keen to fly to Europe exclusively to headline this party. Do not miss this rare opportunity to catch Omar in the North.

As if that wasn’t enough :: MATTHEW DEAR aka AUDION :: will be one of only two guests to return to the Garden Party to play the terrace. Matthew was keen to return following his live appearance in 2008 and he’ll appear off the back of his imminent album which is due the week before the Garden Party.

We also have Manchester folks KALUKI and MICRON coming in TO HOST THE White Lounge as well as our pals SENSU from Glasgow’s mecca, THE SUB CLUB taking over the Gimp Room.

GARDEN PARTY - 5th Anniversary Announcement

As those who’ve already attended this year will know, this year’s GPs have been the best yet. With line ups that have already so far taken in the likes of CHEZ DAMIER, DIXON, DYED SOUNDOROM, NICK CURLY, LEE CURTISS and more we’ve brought some of the world’s most exciting artists to what is now widely established as one of the best parties in the UK. The Fav main room has seen an extensive refurb, we expanded outside areas and introduced other popular quirks – see the tea ladies! ϑ

August sees us celebrate 5 years of the GP, it is also the last Fav GP until May 2011. It seems a perfect opportunity to reflect and say a thank you to the thousands upon thousands of you who’ve come through the doors since we first started.

The Garden Party started as a Technique and Asylum friends, family and residents party and has grown naturally over the years to become one of the most credible, exciting and interesting events in the calendar with an atmosphere that’s second to NONE!. It saw the Fav’s pool room renamed the ‘Gimp Room’ and of course the hallowed terrace came into it’s own. We’ve forged great relationships with various other club nights and of course Resident Advisor and since we started booking guests back in 2007 have brought some of the most exciting names

So as we present one of our finest line ups to date please come and celebrate with us as we reach the ripe old age of 5 this coming August Bank Holiday Sunday!
